Stimmer Receives Wilson Writing Scholarship for Poets

Starla Stimmer of Chillicothe, Ohio, is the 2011-12 recipient of the "Dr. Robert L. Wilson Writing Scholarship for Poets."

Wilson, a former professor at Shawnee State University, established this scholarship for students committed to the writing of poetry.

To receive this scholarship, a student must be in good academic standing and submit five original poems to be evaluated.
