Recruiters say research is the key to a successful job search. Stand out from the crowd by taking their advice and research organizations before the fair. Not much time to spare? Choose your top five organizations, do the research and then add more organizations as time allows.
Suits are always appropriate for the Fair. Business casual is appropriate as well. Keep in mind, however, "business casual" does not indicate "classroom casual." Organizations say first impressions count, so give some thought to what you wear.
Bring copies of your resume, unofficial transcript, reference sheet, portfolio, pen/pencil and notebook. Bring additional resumes to present to each employer. You will present yourself as a prepared job seeker should the employer request a resume.
