Loan Plan:

Enrollment
deadline is August 25, 2009. Fill out and return the Short Term
Loan Plan form along with your 1st installment payment.

To be
enrolled in the Short Term Loan Plan, a form (http://www.shawnee.edu/off/brsr/pdf/shorttermloanfallspring.pdf)
must be printed off, completed, mailed (with the appropriate
payment) by August 25, 2009.

There is $10 Application Fee, please include with your first
payment of one-fourth of the balance due.

First payment is due no later than 5:00 p.m. on
August 25, 2009.

The remaining payment due dates are September 10, October 8,
November 5, 2009
NEW - ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION
Now you
can pay your SSU bill online.
For your
convenience, Shawnee State University now offers CASHNet, a safe
and easy way for you to pay your tuition bill online. CASHNet is
available through the Billing Information – My Account Info
section under the “Student” tab on MySSU. To use CASHNet, you
may either set-up an e-check payment by providing your bank
checking account number and bank routing number (both numbers
appear on the bottom of your checks) or you may provide a credit
card number.
NO
SERVICE FEE will be charged for
E-CHECK PAYMENTS. A service fee of 2.75%
of your transaction amount bill will be charged for credit card
transactions. Accepted credit cards online include Mastercard,
Discover, American Express, and Diner’s Club.

Shawnee
State accepts the following types of personal payment: cash,
check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American
Express. Please write the students
id number on the face of your check. ALL PAYMENTS
MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE BURSAR'S OFFICE BY THE POSTED DUE DATES.
If you are
unable to meet these deadlines, you will be responsible for Late
fees and a Bursar's HOLD will be placed on your account.
Late
Fees
Students not
on the Short Term Loan Plan will be assessed the following late
fees:
$180.00 - if
unpaid by August 25, 2009
Student on
the Short Term Loan Plan will be assessed the following late
fees:
$60.00 - if
unpaid by August 25, 2009
$40.00 - if
unpaid by September 10, 2009
$40.00 - if
unpaid by October 8, 2009
$40.00 - if
unpaid by November 5, 2009
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
If you are paying a past due balance with a paper check your Bursar
HOLD will not be removed for 2 weeks to make sure the checks
clears. Paying by cash, money order, Visa and MasterCard,
Discover or paying with the ONLINE options
the Bursar's HOLD will be removed immediately.
"Failure
to pay your account balance in full or make payment arrangements
by the end of the term, will result in your account being turned
over to the Attorney General of the State of Ohio. The Attorney
General of the State of Ohio will begin immediate collection
efforts against you. These collection efforts by the Attorney
General of the State of Ohio may also include litigation."
Collection
cost and interest will be added to the student’s account
balance.
Student fees listed here are the
2009-2010 fees and are subject
to change. Shawnee State University reserves the right to
make, without prior notice, any fee adjustment that may become
necessary.
