November 22 @ Lewis-Clark State (NAIA National Tournament Opening Round)

Shawnee State ended their season as the Bears fell in four sets to host Lewis-Clark State College. Becca Day and Heather Koehler led the Bears offense with 16 kills apiece.  Day also added 8 digs in the match. Jami Turrill added 9 kills, 10 digs, and 1 service aces.  Megan Wills and Chelsea Howard each had 6 kills respectively. Haley Halcomb set up 50 assists, to go along with 10 digs, and 3 kills. Defensively, Tiffany Dailey had 20 digs. Lewis-Clark State was led by Anile Clemente and Julie Maciboba who each had 16 kills in the contest. [Box Score] Shawnee State has had their best season in school history as they finished the season with a 38-3 record and finished 2nd in the conference with a 12-2 record. 

 
November 14 vs. Ohio Dominican (AMC Tournament Championship Game)

Shawnee State cruised to an American Mideast Conference Tournament Championship and earned an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship.  This is the first AMC Volleyball Tournament Championship in Shawnee State history.  Shawnee State dominated most of the championship game as they defeated Ohio Dominican in three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-13.  Becca Day led the Bears with 15 kills and added 6 digs in the match.  Jamie Turrill had 10 kills, 13 digs, and 2 blocks, and Heather Koehler added 10 kills respectively.  Haley Halcomb set up 42 assists and had 14 digs.  Tiffany Dailey added 24 digs in the match. 

 
November 14 vs. Cedarville (AMC Tournament Semifinal Game)
Shawnee State defeated Cedarville in four sets by scores of 25-11, 25-20, 19-25, 25-10.  Jamie Turrill put in a solid match as she pounded 15 kills, had 10 digs, 4 blocks, and 1 service aces.  Megan Wills drilled 12 kills, while Heather Koehler and Becca Day each added 10 kills for the Bears respectively.  Day also had 11 digs and 3 blocks in the contest.  Haley Halcomb set up 43 assists for the Bears to go along with 13 digs and 4 kills.  Tiffany Dailey had 19 digs in the match. November 1 vs. Daemen @ Malone

Shawnee State defeated Daemen 25-25, 23-25, 21-25, 25-13, 15-11.  Heather Koehler led the Bears with 17 kills.  Becca Day had 15 kills, 16 digs, 4 blocks, and 1 service ace in the contest.  Jami Turrill added 13 kills, 12 digs, and 2 blocks for the Bears.  Haley Halcomb had 49 assists in the match, while Tiffany Dailey had 39 digs.          [Box Score]

 
November 1 @ Malone

Shawnee State defeated Malone in three sets by scores of 28-26, 25-17, 26-14.  Heather Koehler led the Bears' attack wiht 9 kills.  Becca Day, Jami Turrill, and Megan Wills each had 8 kills apiece.  Day and Turrill both added 9 digs and 2 blocks in the contest.  Haley Halcomb set up 34 assists to go along with 8 digs.  Tiffany Dailey had 27 digs for the Bears. October 28 vs. Rio Grande

Shawnee State defeated the University of Rio Grande in three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-4, 25-14.  Becca Day and Jami Turrill lead the Bears with 8 kills and 10 digs apiece. Day also had a career-high 8 service aces. Koehler, Megan Wills and Samantha Emler each had 5 kills respectively.  Haley Halcomb set up 31 assists in the match.  [Box Score]

 
October 25 vs. Houghton

Shawnee State defeated Houghton in four sets by scores of 22-25, 2525-15, 25-13, 25-23.  Heather Koehler led the Bears with 16 kills, 5 digs, and 4 blocks.  Becca Day added 12 kills, 22 digs, and 7 blocks in the match.  Jami Turrill had 11 kills, 13 digs, and 2 blocks, while Samantha Emler added 10 kills respectively.  Haley Halcomb set up 44 assists to go along with 2 kills and 23 digs.  Tiffany Dailey had 25 digs in the match. October 25 vs. Notre Dame

Shawnee State defeated Notre Dame in three sets by scores by 25-20, 25-20, 26-24.  Heather Koehler led the Bears with 13 kills.  Becca Day added 11 kills, 18 digs, 4 blocks, and 1 service ace. Jami Turrill and Megan Wills each added 8 kills in the match.  Haley Halcomb set up 39 assists for the Bears.  Tiffany Dailey had 25 digs in the match. [Box Score]

 
October 22 vs. Central State

Shawnee State defeated Central State in three sets by scores of 25-7, 25-7, 25-7 Seniors Becca Day and Samantha Emler led the Bears with 9 kills apiece.  Day also added 6 digs, 3 blocks, and 1 service ace.  Jami Turrill had 8 kills in the game, to along with 9 digs and 1 block. [Box Score]

 
October 18 vs. Northwestern Ohio @ Point Park

Shawnee State defeated Northwestern Ohio in four sets by scores of 12-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.  Becca Day had 13 kills, 13 digs, 3 blocks, and 1 service ace in the match to lead the Bears.  Jamie Turill had 11 kills, 5 digs, 4 blocks, and 2 assists.  Haley Halcomb dished out 32 assists and added 3 kills 3 digs, a service aces, and a block for the Bears.  Tiffany Dailey added 37 digs. October 18 @ Point Park

It took Shawnee State five sets to defeat Point Park.  The Bears won by scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 19-25, 16-14.  Heather Koehler lead the attack as she pounded 15 kills in the match.  Becca Day added 14 kills and 11 digs for the Bears.  Jami Turrill and Chelsea Howard each added 9 kills apiece.  Haley Halcomb had a solid game as she set up 40 assists, had 22 digs, 4 kills, a service ace, and a block in the game.  Tiffany Dailey had 39 digs in the match. October 19 @ Marietta

Shawnee State Volleyball Team defeated Marietta College in three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-8.  Heather Koehler led the Bears attack with 14 kills.  Jami Turrill added 10 kills and 4 blocks for the Bears.  Haley Halcomb dished out 36 assists in the match, while Tiffany Dailey had 15 digs. October 11 vs. University of Cumberlands @ Shawnee State Invitational

Shawnee State defeated the University of Cumberlands by scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-14 to sweep the tournament and earn the Tournament Championship.  Heather Koehler had 11 kills in the contest.  Becca Day and Megan Wills each added 9 kills apiece for the Bears offense.  Haley Halcomb had 27 assists and 16 digs in the match.        [Box Score]

 
October 11 vs. Ohio Valley @ Shawnee State Invitational

Shawnee State opened up the second day of the Invitational with a three set win over Ohio Valley by scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-8.  Heather Koehler led the Bears as she pounded 11 kills and added 3 blocks.  Becca Day had 10 kills, 6 digs, 2 service aces, and a block in the contest.  Haley Halcomb set up 28 assists for the Bears.           [Box Score]

 
October 10 vs. Urbana @ Shawnee State Invitational

Shawnee State defeated Urbana University in three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 26-24.  Becca Day, Chelsea Howard, and Heather Koehler each had 7 kills for the Bears, while Samantha Emler added 6 kills.  Tiffany Dailey had 25 digs in the match.  Haley Halcomb set up 26 assists. [Box Score]

 
October 10 vs. Siena Heights @ Shawnee State Invitational

Shawnee State opened up the Invitational with a 25-10, 25-19, 25-15 win over Siena Heights University.  Becca Day, Jami Turrill, and Heather Koehler led a balanced attack as they each had 7 kills in the contest.  Samantha Emler added 5 kills, while Tiffany Dailey had 11 digs in the match.  Haley Halcomb dished out 31 assists.  [Box Score]

 
October 4 vs. Walsh @ Cedarville
Shawnee State lost to NAIA #25 ranked Walsh in four sets by scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16.  Heather Koehler paced the Bears with 12 kills.  Becca Day added 11 kills, 11 digs, and 2 blocks for the Bears.  Chelsea Howard recorded 9 kills and 15 digs in the match.  Haley Halcomb set up 45 assists to go along with 13 digs, 4 kills, and 2 blocks.  Tiffany Dailey dug up a career-high 50 digs. October 4 @ Cedarville
The Bears lost to Cedarville in four sets by scores of 25-20, 24-26, 26-24, 26-24.  Heather Koehler pounded 15 kills to lead the Bears, while Megan Wills added 11 kills.  Jami Turrill had 10 kills, 8 digs, and 6 blocks in the match.  Becca Day had 10 kills, 12 digs, and 4 blocks.  Haley Halcomb handed out 41 assists to along with 9 digs, 3 kills, and 2 blocks.  Tiffany Dailey passed up 26 digs. September 30 vs. Ohio Dominican

Shawnee State defeated Ohio Dominican University in three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.  Becca Day, Jami Turrill, and Heather Koehler led the Bears balanced attack with 12 kills apiece.  Day and Turrill each added 9 digs for the Bears.  Megan Wills added 11 kills in the contest.  Haley Halcomb set up 44 assists.  Tiffany Dailey had 21 digs in the match.  [Box Score]

 
September 23 @ Mt. Vernon

Shawnee State trailed 2 games to come from behind to defeat Mount Vernon by scores of 24-26, 14-25, 28-26, 25-23, and 15-11.  Becca Day tied her career-high as she pounded 23 kills.  She also had 13 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 assist in the match.  Jami Turrill had a career-high 17 kills to go with 10 digs and 3 blocks.  Heather Koehler had 13 kills, 7 digs, and 5 blocks for the Bears.  Haley Halcomb set up 48 assists to go with 25 digs, 3 kills, and 6 blocks.  Tiffany Dailey contributed 33 digs in the match. September 23 @ Mt. Vernon

The Bears defeated Kentucky Christian in three sets by scores of 25-12, 25-14, and 25-13.  Becca Day led the Bears with 10 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block.  Chelsea Howard had 7 kills, while Jami Turrill and Heather Koehler added 6 kills apiece.  Haley Halcomb set up 22 assists in the match. September 25 @ Central State

Shawnee State Volleyball Team beat Central State in three sets by scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-5.  Becca Day led the Bears with 8 kills, 6 service aces, and 6 digs, while Jami Turrill added 6 kills, 8 digs, and 2 blocks.  Haley Halcomb set up 20 assists and Tiffany Dailey had 10 digs. [Box Score

 
September 23 @ Mt. Vernon

For only the second time in school history the Shawnee State Volleyball Team defeated Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  After five long sets, the Bears beat the Cougars by scores of 26-24, 25-21, 18-25, 21-25, 15-8 to break Mount Vernon's home win streak of 22 matches.  Becca Day and Jami Turrill each had solid matches to lead the Bears to their 19th straight victory of the season.  Day lead the Bears' attack with 17 kills, 15 digs, 4 service aces, 2 assists, and 1 block.  Turrill had 12 kills, 20 digs, 3 blocks, and 2 service aces.  Heather Koehler added 13 kills.  Haley Halcomb set up 48 assists to go along with 20 digs, 3 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 service aces.  Tiffany Dailey had 37 digs in the match.  Chelsea Howard and Samantha Emler had 9 kills and 7 kills respectively.  [Box Score

 
September 20 vs. Ursuline

The Bears defeated Ursuline College by scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-23.  Jami Turrill had 15 kills and 15 digs in the match.  Becca Day added 13 kills, 12 digs and a block.  Megan Wills had 9 kills for the Bears.  Haley Halcomb set up 46 assists and had 13 digs.  Tiffany Dailey had 15 digs in the match. September 20 vs. Midway

The Bears defeated Midway College in three sets by scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-6.  Jami Turrill led the Bears with 11 kills, 9 digs, and 3 service aces.  Becca Day added 9 kills, while Janine Grey had 6 kills.  Haley Halcomb set up 31 assists in the game. [Box Score]

 
September 14 @ Mountain State

Shawnee State defeated Mountain State 25-19, 25-14, 25-17.  Becca Day led the Bears with 12 kills and 9 digs.  Megan Wills added 9 kills and 2 blocks.  Jami Turrill added 8 kills and 14 digs for the Bears. [Box Score]

 
September 14 vs. University of Virginia-Wise @ Mountain State

Shawnee State defeated University of Virginia-Wise 25-15, 25-12, 25-15.  Heather Koehler led the Bears attack with 11 kills.  Jami Turrill added 5 kills and 3 blocks.  Haley Halcomb had 29 assists in the game and Tiffany Dailey had 21 digs. [Box Score]

 
September 14 vs. West Virginia Tech @ Mountain State

Shawnee State pounded West Virginia Tech in three matches by scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-5.  Becca Day led the Bears with 13 kills, while Samantha Emler added 12 kills.  Jami Turrill added 8 kills and 10 digs for the Bears.  Haley Halcomb set up 36 assists. [Box Score]

Shawnee State defeated Carlow 25-17, 25-16, and 25-14.  Jami Turrill led the Bears with 9 kills, 7 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 service ace.  Chelsea Howard had 7 kills in the game, while Becca Day and Heather Koehler each added 6 kills apiece.  Haley Halcomb had 33 assists in the game and Tiffany Dailey had 22 digs for the Bears. Shawnee State defeated Wilmington College in 3 matches to remain undefeated.  The Bears defeated Wilmington by scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-17.  Shawnee State was led by Heather Koehler who pounded 12 kills in the match.  Becca Day added 9 kills, 11 digs, 2 service aces, and 1 block.  Jami Turrill and Chelsea Howard each had 7 kills apiece.  Turrill also added 18 digs in the match.  Haley Halcomb set up 28 assists and had 15 digs.  Tiffany Dailey had 32 digs for the Bears.  [Box Score]

Shawnee State defeated NCAA Division II Brevard.  The Bears took the Tornados in three sets by scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.  Leading the Bears was Becca Day with 12 kills, 18 digs, 2 service aces, and 1 block.  Megan Wills added 9 kills, 2 service aces, and 1 block for the Bears.  Kendra Massie set up 32 assists, while Tiffany Dailey had 27 digs.  [Box Score

Shawnee State defeated Mountain State 25-20, 21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-11 to win their fifth consecutive match of the season and remain undefeated.  Becca Day led the Bears as she pounded 20 kills.  She also contributed 15 digs, 3 blocks, and 1 ace in the match.  Megan Wills added 9 kills, 6 digs, and 3 blocks for the Bears.  Kendra Massie set up 41 assists. August 23 @ Concordia
Shawnee State defeated Concordia 25-16, 25-17, 25-19, 25-20, 15-12 to capture the Tournament Championship.  Megan Wills had 14 kills and 3 block, Becca Day added 13 kills and 4 blocks.  Kendra Massie had 33 assists and Tiffany Dailey had 37 digs in the match. Becca Day and Heather Koehler were named to the All-Tournament Team and Tiffany Dailey was named Libero of the Tournament. [Box Score]

Shawnee State defeated Taylor 25-19, 25-16, 25-21.  Heather Koehler and Jamie Turrill had 9 kills apiece, Turrill added 15 digs in the match.  Kendra Massie had 29 assists in the match.  [Box Score]
