October 25 @ Georgetown

Shawnee State lost 5-1 to host Georgetown College. Lenier Crawford scored the Bear's only goal of the game.  Crawford's second goal of the week and season, came on an assist from Tyler Hutton at the 55:01 mark of the game. Shawnee State was out shot 16-15 in the game.  Shawnee State's Kevin Fischer recorded 3 saves while Bobby Krauss tallied 4 saves.  GC's Bill Mercke recorded 3 saves in the game. [Box Score]

 
October 21 vs. Malone

Lenier Crawford scored his first goal of the season in the 88th minute of play to give Shawnee State the 3-2 victory over Malone University Malone’s Paul Traxler scored the first goal of the game (unassisted) in the 8th minute of the game.  SSU’s first goal came on an own goal in the 28th minute of play.  Traxler scored again at the 47:05 point of the game.  Bryan Barker tied the game on an assist from Ryan Appell in the 53rd minute of play.  Crawford scored the game-winning goal at the 88:30 point of the game on an assist from Drew Sampson. Shawnee State outshot Malone 17-13 in the game.  SSU’s Kevin Fischer recorded 5 saves in the game.  MU’s Phil Bookhamer recorded 9 saves. October 18 vs. Roberts Wesleyan

Shawnee State lost to Roberts Wesleyan College 5-1 in conference play.  Jordan Buck scored the first goal of the game and gave the Bears the 1-0 lead.  His goal was on an assist from Drew Sampson in the 8th minute.  Roberts Wesleyan tied the game on a goal from Femi Argundade on an assist from Chris Maloney in the 27th minute.  RWC took the lead with a goal on a penalty kick from Dustin Tiddick in the 40th minute and gave the Raiders the 2-1 advantage at the half.  Roberts Wesleyan tallied 3 goals in the second period.  Nick Clancy scored a goal on an assist from Jake Schindler in the 64th minute.  RWC tallied a goal from an own goal and Jack Schindler scored the final goal of the game on an assist from Mike McGinnis in the 80th minute.  Shawnee State was outshot 30-3 in the game.  SSU’s Bobby Krauss tallied 77 minutes in goal and recorded 7 saves, while Jordan Cross recorded 4 saves in 15 minute in goal. October 17 vs. Houghton

Shawnee State lost 0-1 in the second overtime to Houghton College in AMC action.  Dan Brubaker found the net on a goal unassisted in the 101st minute of play to give Houghton the win.  Houghton outshot Shawnee State 29-1 in the game.  SSU’s Kevin Fischer recorded 11 saves in the game. October 14 @ Mount St. Joseph

Shawnee State lost to Mount St. Joseph 2-1.  Shawnee State scored the first goal of the game.  Drew Sampson found the back of the net, off an assist from Tim Cook, in the 31st minute of play.  MSU's Robert Huesman tied the score on a goal from an assist from Jeremy Winegartner at the 51:22 mark of the game.  Erik Jacob scored the game winning goal a minute and half later off an assist from Ben Denier. Shawnee State was out shot 7-4 on goal.  SSU's Kevin Fischer tallied 5 saves in goal.  MSJ's Max Hoffman recorded 3 saves in the game. [Box Score]

 
October 11 @ Daemen

Shawnee State fell just short as they lost 2-1 at Daemen.  Daemen's Adam Groff scored the first goal of the game unassisted in the 27th minute.  SSU's Bryan Barker tied the game at 1-1 with a goal on an assist from Ryan Appell in the 50th minute of action.  Daemen's Tom Shaw scored the winning goal from a corner kick from Dan Clauss to tally the final score of 2-1. Shawnee State was outshot 24-9 in the game.  SSU's Kevin Fischer recorded 9 saves in the game.  DC's Gary Arruda tallied 4 saves in the game. [Box Score]

 
October 7 vs. Rio Grande

Shawnee State lost to NAIA #1 ranked Rio Grande 9-0. shawnee State was outshot 35-2 in the game.  SSU’s Kevin Fischer tallied 12 saves in goal in 65 minutes of action, while Bobby Krauss recorded 1save in 25 minutes of play.  Rio Grande’s Nate Walzer recorded the shutout and had 1 save in the game. October 4 @ Point Park

Shawnee State lost to Point Park 2-0.  Shawnee State was out shot 13-10 in the game.  SSU's Kevin Fischer recorded 2 saves in the game.  [Box Score]

 
September 27 vs. Mt. Vernon

Shawnee State lost to Mount Vernon Nazarene University 6-1. Steven Cox scored the Bears only goal of the game in the 47th minute of play. Shawnee State was outshot 32-7 in the game.  SSU’s Bobby Krauss recorded 14 saves.  MVNU’s Tyson Porter recorded 1 save in the game.  [Box Score]

Shawnee State lost to Cedarville University 6-0 in AMC action.  Shawnee State was out shot 32-2 in the game.  SSU's Kevin Fischer recorded 4 saves in 66 minutes in goal, while Jordan Cross tallied 2 saves in 10 minutes in goal.  [Box Score]

 
September 19 @ Ohio Dominican

Shawnee State Men's lost to Ohio Dominican 9-0. Shawnee State was outshot 30-2 in the game. SSU's Bobby Krauss tallied 4 saves in the game and Kevin Fischer tallied 5 saves.  ODU's Eric Pfeifer and Tyler Gleason each recorded 1 save in the game. [Box Score]

 
September 17 @ Bluffton

Shawnee State picked up their first victory of the season as they defeated Bluffton University 3-1.  Bluffton's Jacob Graham scored the first goal of the game just 8 minutes into the game.  SSU's Brad Reffitt tied the game with a goal on an assist from Barry Collins in the 30th minute of play.  Steven Cox scored the game winner on an assist from Cody Bond in the 79th minute of action.  Brad Reffitt put the game out of reach as he scored his second goal of the game on an assist from Steven Cox in the 83rd minute of play.  SSU's Bobby Krausee played 45 minutes in goal and allowed one goal and tallied 1 save.  Kevin Fischer played 45 minutes in goal and had 6 saves.  BU's Brian Good had 3 saves in the game. September 16 vs. Mountain State

Shawnee State lost to Mountain State 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon.  Shawnee State falls to 0-5 overall.  Mountain State improves to 3-2 overall. Shawnee State was outshot 15-12 in the game.  SSU’s Bobby Krauss tallied 5 saves in the game.  MSU’s Roberto Clerveaux recorded 5 saves in the game. [Box Score]

Shawnee State Men’s Soccer Team lost to Walsh 5-0 Shawnee State was out shot 22-3 in the game.  SSU's Bobby Krauss recorded 10 saves. WU's Ben Pflum recorded 2 saves in the game and Jon Brubach tallied 1 save.  [Box Score]

 
September 9 @ Ohio Valley

Shawnee State lost to Ohio Valley 7-1.  SSU's Steven Cox scored the first goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 14th minute of play to put the Bears on the board first.  OVU's Roberto Jofra tied the game with a goal on an assist from Danny Fernandez in the 31st minute of action.  OVU scored three goals in less than 5 minutes to end the half and give OVU the 4-1 advantage and the Bears could not recover.  Ohio Valley scored three more goals in the second half to make the final score 7-1.  Ohio Valley outshot the Bears 25-9 in the game. September 7 vs. Saint Francis

Shawnee State lost to Saint Francis 1-0.  Saint Francis’ Matt Bessesen scored the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute of play.  Saint Francis outshot the Bears 18-5 in the game.  SSU’s Rocky Dunkin record 6 saves in the game.  SF’s Nick Morken tallied 1 save in the game. [Box Score]

 
September 3 vs. West Virginia Tech

Shawnee State lost to West Virginia Tech 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon.  Steven Cox scored the Bears only goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 60th minute of play.  West Virginia Tech out shot the Bears 19-6 in the game.  SSU’s Rocky Dunkin tallied 5 saves and Kevin Fischer tallied 1 save.  West Virginia Tech’s Jose Poggioli recorded 1 save in the game.  [Box Score]
