What to expect from Plastics Day

Plastics Day is an interactive campus visit program which allows you to learn about Shawnee State’s Plastics Engineering Technology program by meeting with current students, successful alumni and faculty.  You will be able to operate plastics processing equipment such as extruders, injection molding machines and rotational molders.  You will be able to produce your own polymer based plastics product like poker chips, Frisbees and piggy banks.  Also you will learn about how to design plastic products and get to play with very sophisticated computer programs. Lunch will be provided at no charge and you are encouraged to bring guests.  The Plastics Day program is free and open to the public.
