What to expect from Open House The Open House program is a great way to explore SSU and interact with faculty, staff, and current students. The fall program is held on a Saturday, while the spring program is held on President’s Day when most high schools are closed. The program offers a variety of events throughout the day, which include academic sessions conducted by SSU professors covering all of the majors offered. Also, there is a parent session/panel group which includes the Directors from the offices of Admission, Financial Aid, Housing, Student Success Center and Student Activities. The students will attend a student panel session conducted by current enrolled SSU students. The day also includes campus and housing tours and for prospective athletes there is a NAIA college athletics session. Both Open House programs are free and open to the public.
