What do AmeriCorps Members receive for their service?

You will receive tuition assistance of $4,725 for one year of full-time or up to three years of part-time service. This money can be used to pay off past student loans or to pay for future tuition needs for up to seven years. If you are a full-time participant, you will also receive a living allowance, health care benefits, and child care benefits.

Where do AmeriCorps Members serve, and what type of work do they do?

AmeriCorps Members are located throughout Ohio. They are involved in a variety of activities, including organizing volunteers, tutoring at-risk children, preserving the environment, and protecting our communities.
