Presidential Charge to committee for 2008–2009

The Assessment committee is a university-wide committee providing leadership in the development and utilization of assessment as a tool for understanding and decision-making and recommending appropriate policies.  This year’s charges to the committee include: 

·    Provide review and recommendations of SSU’s participation in the VSA and the Ohio College  Profile.

·     Work with by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment addressing principles of continuous improvement and AQIP guidelines. Recommend infrastructure that facilitates continued assessment, evaluation, and utilization of data in institutional decision-making and help insure that substantial assessment projects are developed and undertaken throughout the university.

·     Recommend methods for communicating assessment findings to the university committee.
