Enrollment/Attrition/Graduation

Each year the program strives to enroll between 20 and 24 students into the introductory course for Medical Laboratory Technology. In fall semester 2010, only 18 students began the program with 10 of these students successfully completing the program in 2012.

Pass Rates for Certification Examination

One of the methods the Medical Laboratory Technology Program uses to self-assess is with the pass rates on the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Registry Exam. A minimum of 400 is necessary for students to pass the exam.

Employment Placement Rates

The Medical Laboratory Technology Program is able to boast exceptional employment placement rates with 100% of the graduates passing the certification exam finding gainful employment in the laboratory world within 6 months of graduation.
