How is this outcome assessed?

1

Upon completion of the program, all graduates will demonstrate the ability to comprehend, apply, and evaluate information at a level necessary to obtain a license to practice Respiratory Therapy.

Successful completion of the “Entry-Level” (CRT) examination of the NBRC.

2

Upon completion of the program, all graduates will demonstrate the ability to comprehend, apply, and evaluate information relevant to their role as a graduate respiratory therapist.

Successful completion of the “Advanced-Level” (RRT) examination or alternatively successful completion of the Comprehensive Written Registry Examination of the NBRC.

Upon completion of the program, all graduates will demonstrate technical proficiency in all skills necessary to fulfill the role of a respiratory therapist.

Graduate and Employer follow-up assessments completed within one year following graduation.

Upon completion of this program, all graduates will demonstrate personal behaviors and attitudes consistent with professional and employer expectations for the respiratory therapist.
