Using combination of self-developed and standardized evaluation forms, students assess and evaluate programs and personnel

Develop familiarity with budgeting process

Individual project in which student develops zero-based budget for a high school athletic department

Competent in application of technology to sport organization

 

Required presentations and projects utilizing entire Microsoft Office package.

Development of web-page for a sport organization.

Experience in Sport Marketing

Group project involving development of marketing and sales management plans for a sport organization.

Familiarity with legal issues facing sport management professionals

Coursework, including case reviews and in-class projects

Job-Search Skills

Students develop cover letter, resumes, and job search strategies
