How is this outcome assessed?

1

Students will develop a historical perspective within the context of American history, be able to analyze American historical phenomena within a global context, and gain in depth knowledge of American political and social history.

Seniors will be assessed at end of the academic year using the ETS Major Field Test in History.

2

Students will develop a historical perspective within the context of European history involving Ancient, Medieval and Modern eras. Students will be able to analyze European historical phenomena within a global context and gain in depth knowledge within the fields of European political and social history.

Seniors will be assessed at end of the academic year using  the ETS Major Field Test in History.

3

Students will develop a historical perspective within the context of Non-Western history (particularly Asian history). Students will be able to analyze non-western history within a global context and gain in depth knowledge within the fields of Non-Western political and social history.

Seniors will be assessed at end of the academic year using the ETS Major Field Test in History.

4

Students will develop a historical perspective within the context of global history. Students will be able to develop an understanding of the historical relations between various state and civilization systems and develop in depth knowledge within the fields of global political and social history. 

Seniors will be assessed at end of the academic year using the ETS Major Field Test in History.
