  • 48 students applied to the program and of those, 33 were accepted in the 2007-8 cycle

  • Average of 84% for class of 2005
  • Average of 90% for class of 2008


Employment rates: 

  • 83% average rate for 2006-7


State Licensure Pass Rates for 2004-7 (Current rolling three-year average) 

  • SSU-89.47% (2004-6)
  • SSU-93% for class of 2007 currently


Average age of students in cohorts: 

  • 22.6 years old for class entering in Fall 2006
  • 26.8 years old for Class of 2008


Average GPA upon entrance: (on 4.0=A scale)

  • Summer of 2007:  3.2


Average ACT upon selection:

  • Summer of 2007: 21.7 Composite
  • Three year average: 2005-7: 21.5 for Science Reasoning and 20.9 Composite


Average Cumulative GPA after one term of the program: 

  •  class of 2005-2007: 3.26


Accreditation Status Changes: accredited until December 31, 2011 via CAPTE.
